Praise
•Justin shared that his company (in the Army) just started a men’s Bible study during work, and it’s been great for the guys to be able to get together and study the book of James.
•Tiffany shared that her mom’s been very encouraged seeing how well Travis is adjusting and wanting to come to church, and she’s been bringing him, and how Tiffany’s mom wants to come more and wants to volunteer now too.
•Tiffany had a praise that her nephew Travis is doing great at GCS since starting this week.
•Praise that Mary got offered the job she wanted.
•Praise from Paul that his kids’ friends that just started GCS are having a great year. Their parents were optimistic that they were going to like it, but they have been blown away with how much they love the school year.
•Praise that the new students at GCS seem to be fitting in well and starting the year off well.
•Praise that the GCS mom that had a seizure Tuesday is doing much better. The Lord was really watching over that family because the daughter overslept and was the one that found her mom unresponsive, and if she had woken up on time and gone to school on time, she wouldn’t have been there for her mom when she was needed. The mom (Krista) and the father are going through some issues, so please pray for Krista’s health, the kids, and the family situation.
Prayer Requests
•Pray for Barry and Becky’s friend Mary Lou from Shingle Creek in Orlando. Her husband who was a Christian passed away last year. Mary Lou downsized to a smaller home, but her old home still hasn’t sold, and she’s struggling with 2 houses and asked for prayer that her old house sells. She is not a Christian, but she’s asking for prayer. Pray for this but also pray for her salvation.
•Continue to pray for the new building. The documents are with the bank for review, and now it’s just an issue with trying to get the best interest rate.
•Continue praying for Paul Johnson as he undergoes dialysis and pray for a new kidney for him.
•Pray for Markham’s mother Susan as she undergoes her annual bone marrow biopsy today.
•Pray for unsaved family and friends.
•Pray for Mr Grothe’s friends’ kids who are headed off to college in Michigan soon.
•Pray for Kelly & Alex’s friend Stephanie (son is on their baseball team). Stephanie’s brother John was just diagnosed with terminal colon cancer. He is not a Christian, and he is closed off to anyone talking to him about the Lord. Pray for his salvation and his health and their family.
•Continue to pray for Barry’s dad Doug as he undergoes dialysis and for his other health issues.
•Continue to pray for Jeff, Brody’s stepdad and his ALS diagnosis.
•Continue to pray for Haiti. Pastor Abraham said on Sunday, the gang attacked many people, and they killed 47, injured 22 that are hospitalized, and kidnapped an unknown number of people. The gang said if the police come, they will kill those that they kidnapped. Also 27 homes were burned. Also, they need to relocate the House of Grace. They’ve outgrown their space they’ve been in for the last 3 months. They need to build a hanger building on a piece of land someone gave them, but they just need the funds to be able to build it (4 people to donate $100 each). He is also still collecting clothing or shoes and or nonperishable food for their next shipment.
•Pray for Tiffany’s dad Joe as he has a stent put in on Monday. He was going to have open heart surgery but he’s now decided he only wants the stent. Pray for the procedure to go well and for it to be what he needs and if not that the doctors are able to convince him to do the open-heart procedure.
•Pray for Laurie’s mom (Michelle Jones) as she injured her toe.
•Pray for Venus and Lacy’s dad Pat as he is having his recheck scans soon.
•Pray for Greg and Angel’s friend Miranda’s family. They went to school with her, and she passed away unexpectedly. She may have had blood clots from some medicine she had been on. Pray for her family especially her kids.
•Pray for Angel’s Aunt Marsha as she has a surgery today. She’s had some issues in the past with surgery, so pray for all to go well during her procedure today.
•Pray for the upcoming elections.
•Pray for Maggie’s son Adam as he is waiting to hear if he got a management position in Charlotte.
•Crystal asked for prayers for David as he’s been in a lot of pain and has an appointment with a new doctor on Monday. Pray that he can get some relief.
•Pray for Levi as he is still struggling with some things from his past. Pray for Katie and Josiah as they work with him.
•Pray for Josiah and Katie’s friend Cory as he was just diagnosed with cancer around his heart. He’s had 4 chemo treatments since last week, and they are going to try to do surgery. Also pray for his wife Tanya and their 3 teenage boys.
•Pray for Clei as she undergoes her treatments this week and her family as well.
