- [ ] Tiffany’s nephew Travis is able to start at GCS on Monday!

- [ ] Hannah Curtis is getting to do her dream job of working with marine animals, and she feels pretty confident that the Georgia Aquarium is going to offer her a permanent position.

- [ ] Chapels are going great. The splitting up of HS and MS chapel seems to be going well allowing Barry or Josiah or others to speak on topics better targeted for certain age groups.

- [ ] Several kids have made professions of faith in chapel already!

Prayer Requests

- [ ] Continue to pray for the Johnson’s nephew Paul Johnson who is on dialysis and needs a new kidney.

- [ ] Pray for unsaved family and friends.

- [ ] Pray for Mr Grothe’s brother and his wife as they are traveling.

- [ ] Pray for Haiti and safety of those there.

- [ ] Pray for a new large open location for the church ministry in Haiti to continue meeting. 

- [ ] Pray for Baby Josie who has to have a heart transplant.

- [ ] Pray for Kelly’s friend Claire and her family as her husband Michael has leukemia and has relapsed. They recently found out that he has a certain gene that shows that he has only a 40% chance of survival for 5 years with this type of cancer. Kelly doesn’t think that Claire or Michael or their family are Christians, so pray for their salvation and his health.

- [ ] Pray for Tiffany’s dad’s upcoming heart surgery on 8/31. 

- [ ] Pray for Dave’s son John as he has another interview tomorrow.

- [ ] Continue to pray for Jeff, Brody’s stepdad who is waiting for Mayo Clinic to give him a second opinion as to if he has ALS or not. His wife Lori is also really struggling with his health diagnosis and having young kids and worrying about what he will be going through in the future if it is ALS.

- [ ] Pray for so many kids in school dealing with so many hard issues.

- [ ] Pray for traveling safety of the buses taking sports teams to various places.

- [ ] Pray for safety on campus and the health of staff and teachers and students as there’s a nasty flu bug and even Covid going around.

- [ ] Pray for the fall baseball team as they have a game this Friday against Alex and Kelly’s travel ball team. Patriots vs Patriots!

- [ ] Pray for college students who either have just left to go off to school or who are leaving this coming weekend for college.
