•Mrs. Robertson had to have a pacemaker put in which was unexpected, but she is doing well.

•Maggie’s shoulder is improving. She has an appointment a week from tomorrow to see if it is healing okay and see if she’s well enough to start physical therapy.

Prayer Requests

•Barry’s dad Doug is back in the hospital. He is starting dialysis. Pray for his health and for his daughter’s wedding in November and that he will be well enough to attend.

•Pray for Becky’s niece Josie as she and her fiancé Eli are getting married in Raleigh the Saturday before school starts. Pray for Barry and Becky as they have to leave right after orientation to drive up to the wedding and then drive back right afterwards to be here for the first day of school.

•Pray for Tanya Orihood whose husband passed away a few weeks ago. Her kids Chad and Kelly graduated from GCS years ago.

•Pray for unsaved family and friends.

•Pray for Mr. Johnson’s brother’s son Paul Johnson as he is in kidney failure and in the hospital. He’s over in Saudi Arabia.

•Pray for the foster baby April Harrah and her family have been caring for. The baby will soon be placed with the grandmother who is already caring for the other 4 siblings. Pray for the transition. Also, Katie Winter is collecting money and/or gift cards for restaurants or fast food places and Bible books to put together a gift box to give the grandmother to help her when she gets the baby so she doesn’t have to cook a few meals. Let Katie know if you want to or are able to contribute to it.

•Continue to pray for Maggie’s arm/shoulder.

•Pray for Maggie’s son Adam Dean that the Lord would provide permanent employment for him.

•Pray for Jessie’s best friend’s little sister Clei who was just diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma today (see her post above for the details). Pray for her best friend to draw closer to the Lord through this difficult time.

•Pray for Sue’s coworker Claudia as she lost her mom yesterday.

•Pray for Thomas, a man that Barry and Becky met on a walk along Bayshore last night. He shared his story with them, and while they aren’t sure how true what he told them was, after he left them, he rode away on his bike singing loudly Victory in Jesus. Pray for him and his travels/future.

•Pray for Tina’s mom Mary and dad Ed as they will be traveling to Boston soon to visit Ed’s sister who has Alzheimer’s and isn’t doing well and will also be seeing Ed’s niece Dawn that Ed and Mary have been witnessing to. Pray for her to be open to hearing about the Lord and visiting with them on their visit.

•Pray for all the projects that need to be done before school starts. One of the library tables delivered today was broken. Pray for a replacement to come quickly.

•Praise that the school flooding fix seems to have finally worked!

•Pray for LeeAnn’s grandmother as she lost her husband a few months ago and now one of her two cats that she is very close to might be sick, and she’s very upset over that.

•Pray for Pastor Abraham’s unspoken request.

•Pray for peace for Haiti.

•Pray for elections that are upcoming.
