Wed. 8/5 Prayer Requests

Praise/Testimony

•Katie shared that she was discouraged because it’s been a rough start to volleyball season, and she was on her mower, and she put on some praise music and the song Firm Foundation and specifically the line “He won’t fail” just came on, and the Lord used it to encourage her where she was at. She reminded us about the power of praise and worship music.

•Kelly shared that Alex Jr went to Arise camp last week, and he had an amazing time. He rededicated his life to the Lord and was baptized and really has been transformed.

•Mr. Grothe shared about how many times when he is at the nursing home singing hymns, people ask questions about the hymns and it opens up some great conversations about the stories behind them.

•Bryan shared that they have been praying for Bryce and what his plan will be since graduating, and Bryce recently told them that he’s been really looking into playing baseball in college, and he has been talking with a coach at a Christian college and playing for them and going to school. Pray for this opportunity to open for him if this is where the Lord wants him to be.

•Maggie is thankful that her shoulder is improving. She is thankful for the prayers and help she’s been given while she’s been recovering. She’s able to start driving now too. She is also so grateful for GCS and her grandkids being able to attend school here.

•Praise that the 1st orientation went so well today!

•Josiah shared that it’s encouraging to see alumni when they come back on campus and to see where they are at now in their lives. Reminder that alumni soccer game is 6pm Friday.
